Orders ship within one business day unless a delay is noted in the part listing (see "…X Day Delay") or you choose a payment method that doesn't process immediately (see "How long will it take to process my payment?"). Business days are Monday through Friday.

If you need to return something, please use our Order Status and Returns page to get a return address or label, and Return Instructions specific to your order. Online authorization is required for all returns. We cannot accept returns at our corporate headquarters.

How soon should I expect my order? If the part is in stock, we usually ship within 24-48 hours (weekdays). If your part is not in stock, we will special order the part for you. Most of out of stock parts are available to us within 1-2 business days (94% fill rate by 2nd day).

Some of the Oreilly stores will price match RockAuto but will charge for shipping. You loose out on the 5% RA discount but usually get the parts quicker.

Yes, authentic parts as in “genuine”. You won't find counterfeit parts there. I always recommend RockAuto for DIYers, especially with a spike of counterfeit stuff on Amazon/eBay and other online resellers.

Like other retailers of branded products, RockAuto does not offer any product warranty of our own--we honor the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product. If you have a problem with a part during the warranty period, please submit a warranty claim through our Order Status & Returns page.

Rock Auto will allow you to generate a return label with their heavily discounted shipping rates with FedEx - so it'll cost 7-12 bucks at most to ship things back, unless it's a huge or heavy part. The cost of shipping is then deducted from the value of the part(s) you return.
